On November 10 2009 Infinity Ward will make its return to the Call Of Duty franchise with the much anticipated release of of its latest title,
Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to the multi award winning Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Modern Warfare 2 is said to continue the heart racing and gripping story with an unprecendented level of action. Players will face off
against a new threat dedicated to bringing the world once again to the brink of collapse.
Call of Duty®: World at War™ Patch 1.6 & Map Pack 3 released!

The CoD:WaW PC Patch 1.6 & Map Pack 3 has finally been released for the PC. This patch is incremental, so you will be required to have Patch 1.5 installed in order to install
1.6 - not that this should be a problem for most users! The most notable additions to this patch are the new maps (the 3 Multiplayer maps Battery, Breach, Revolution,
and the Nazi Zombie level Der Riese ) as well as the v1.4 Mod Tools update.

The Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 3 further expands the awesome COD multiplayer experience with four brand new maps.
Fight for ocean territory in "Battery", an armored island surrounded by anti-ship mines and shore to ship cannons. Watch
out for sniper fire as you defend Russia's most coveted resource in "Revolution", and keep a sharp eye out through the dense,
overcast city streets in "Breach", set at Berlin's historic Brandenburg Gate. Zombies return in all their undead glory with
"Der Riese" (Zombie Factory), a Nazi research facility featuring the weapon upgrading Pack A Punch Machine. Use the teleporters
to escape in an instant and fight to the death in pursuit of the map's 10 new Achievements/Trophies
On July 13 2009 fourzerotwo, the Director of Communications / Community Manager at Infinity Ward unboxed and commented on the all new upcoming Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 2.
As announced on his web site, the first look at the Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 2 is now live on the Official Infinity Ward YouTube page.

The CoD:WaW PC Patch 1.5 & Map Pack 2 has finally been released for the PC. This patch is incremental, so you will be required to have Patch 1.4 installed in order to install
1.5 - not that this should be a problem for most users! The most notable additions to this patch are the new maps (the 3 Multiplayer maps Banzai, Corrosion, Sub Pens,
and the Nazi Zombie level Shi No Numa) as well as the v1.3 Mod Tools update.
The Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 continues to expand the addictive COD multiplayer experience with four new maps.
“Banzai” is a bright jungle map featuring a waterfall and hidden caves where you battle to control the river bridge.
In “Corrosion” you face down your enemy in a shattered train yard and “Sub Pens” where you can wipe the monsoon rain from
your eyes as you struggle over a bombed-out submarine base. The Zombies return in “Shi No Numa” (Zombie Swamp) featuring
Perk machines, the deadly new Wunderwaffe DG-2, new Achievements/Trophies and flaming Hell Hounds!

1.4 - not that this should be a problem for most users! The most notable additions to this patch are the new maps (the 3 Multiplayer maps Nightfire, Station, Knee Deep,
and the Nazi Zombie level Verrückt) as well as the long awaited "improved spawning logic"

The CoD:WaW PC Patch 1.3 has been released. This patch is incremental, so you will be required to have Patch 1.2 installed in order to install
1.3 - not that this should be a problem for most users! The most notable additions to this patch are the /record and /demo commands
which allow you to record and view your MP matches for submission to tournaments, leagues, etc.
Call of Duty Headquarters has released some new Intel today about some new DLC for Duty®: World at War™.
New conflicts are on the horizon for Duty®: World at War™ We're pleased to introduce the contents of our
first Downloadable Content (DLC) Map Pack for World at War, which includes three new Multiplayer levels,
as well as an additional level for the ever-popular bonus Co-Op mode, Nazi Zombies!
